The Project
- Remove fire-damaged roof components and interior materials
- Rebuild damaged roof framing with new wood rafters
- Replace roof decking and install asphalt shingles
- Prepare interior framing and install insulation as reconstruction progresses
Starting Point
Fire damage affected the roof framing and interior materials. The early photographs show charred roof components and opened wall and roof areas.
The Work So Far
We removed damaged roof components and opened the interior for restoration. New wood rafters were installed, followed by roof decking and asphalt shingles. The aerial photographs show the transition from the damaged, opened structure to replacement roof framing.
Ground-level views document the roofing installation and the home after the new shingles were in place. Inside, the photographs show exposed wall and ceiling framing during reconstruction. The current project record also documents insulation installation in the wall and ceiling cavities. Interior finishes remain to be completed; this gallery records work in progress rather than a finished-home handover.
