The Project
- Remove the old low-slope roof covering and install plywood decking
- Install CertainTeed Flintlastic roofing with a Moire Black SA cap sheet
- Fit custom copper flashing along brick walls, corners and roof edges
Starting Point
The roof had a reported leak. Gaps and weathered coatings were visible where the old flashing met the brick wall.
Our Work
We removed the old roof covering and installed new plywood decking. The replacement roof system uses CertainTeed Flintlastic with a Moire Black SA cap sheet. Custom copper flashing follows the brick wall and wraps the projecting masonry corners beneath the windows.
The three selected photographs show the finished roof surface, a close view of the copper corner detail, and the roof field and edge from above.
Project Details
The completed repair has a granular roof surface and copper detailing at the wall junctions and roof edges. The custom flashing was formed from 16 oz copper sheet stock.
