The Project
- Open the bathroom walls and frame new window openings
- Install horizontal sliding windows with house wrap and flashing tape
- Restore lap siding around the new openings
- Finish the interior window trim documented by the source
Starting Point
The bathrooms originally had solid exterior walls above the tub and double vanity. The project photographs show the siding and interior wall areas before openings were made, followed by framing and window-installation views.
Our Work
The exterior sequence shows the lap siding opened to expose the wall assembly, followed by new framing, sheathing and window openings. The sliding windows were set into the openings, with house wrap and flashing tape around the installation areas. Later exterior views show the white window frames within the restored horizontal siding. Interior photographs document the bathroom wall framing and the installed windows above the existing fixtures. The original RGR project account also documents finished white trim at the vanity window. This gallery concerns the window installation and its associated exterior and interior finish work; it does not document a complete bathroom remodel.
Project Details
The source records the bathroom windows installed and the surrounding siding restored. The gallery includes the exterior result and earlier wall-opening and interior installation views. Final trim at every opening is not independently visible in the selected photographs.
