We completed an exterior repair project focused on the underside of an elevated coastal home in Oak Island. Our team removed weathered plywood sheathing and water-damaged insulation from the ceiling areas above the carport and outdoor shower. This process involved stripping back deteriorated materials to expose the wooden floor joists and utility infrastructure for closer inspection. We systematically cleared away stained fiberglass batts and aged paneling to address wear caused by the coastal environment. This work improved the accessibility of the home's mechanical systems and prepared the structure for future updates.
